Year after year, renowned watch manufacturers present their latest creations at the Watches & Wonders fair, leaving watch lovers worldwide in awe. This year, too, there were numerous highlights that caught our attention.

Rolex Perpetual 1908: Classic elegance

One of the standout novelties of the Watches & Wonders 2023 show is undoubtedly the Rolex Perpetual 1908. Inspired by a 1931 Oyster Perpetual, this watch combines the brand's historical codes and horological innovations, showcasing the watchmaker's extensive in-house expertise. The 1908 is an elegant and classic watch that delights with its timeless design and finely tuned proportions.

The case is made of 18-carat yellow or white gold and has a diameter of 36 mm. With the numerals 3, 9, 12 and the small seconds at 6 o'clock, this model is definitely the modern version of the Oyster Perpetual from 1931.

Inside the watch ticks the calibre 7140, which was developed especially for this timepiece. The new self-winding movement has a power reserve of approximately 66 hours. The Perpetual 1908 is a successful combination of tradition and modernity and is sure to delight many watch lovers.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce: Stylish Functionality

The Aquanaut Luce women's collection from Patek Philippe also scored with an innovation at the Watches & Wonders fair. The watch now features a new patented annual calendar complication. The distinctive design of the case and octagonal bezel in rose gold is accentuated by the contrast between polished and satin-finished surfaces.

The case has a diameter of 39.9 mm and is water-resistant to 30 m. The blue-grey dial with the embossed Aquanaut motif has applied numerals in gold with a white luminescent coating.

The new timepiece is equipped with the calibre 26-330 S QA LU, which is an automatic movement. The new complication not only displays the day of the week, date and month, but also the leap year. The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce is an exquisite example of fine watchmaking and perfectly combines style and functionality.
