- Walt Disney was a Rolex wearer.
- A Rolex Mickey Mouse was sold at auction by Sotheby's in 2002. The dial was only described as "refinished", but not as "repainted" or similar.
On the other hand, this simply means that it is possible for a Mickey Mouse watch to have Rolex origins. The company remains silent on this issue, as on most others, so the question of authenticity will probably never be definitively resolved.
